 Another World is Possible: BSF Benefit/Party at the Middle East Restaurant/Club and T.T. the Bear's Place, Saturday, July 24th (8pm-2am), 18+. Performances by Billy Bragg, The Foundation, The Reagan Babies & many more...[ Read on ... ] New panel just added: Almost without exception these efforts are met with threats, intimidation, and often the firing of workers. Employers routinely hire law firms and outside agents to create a climate of fear and hostility workplace when workers choose to organize. How can labor, and its community allies, confront these illegal practices and insure that workers have a voice at work.

The Tikkun Community will offer a vision of this transformation in a series of BSF plenaries and workshops. Co-chair Rabbi Michael Lerner, editor of TIKKUN magazine, will speak on "Reaching Americans through a Progressive Spiritual Politics," and "Healing Israel/Palestine".

"The Corporation," "Peace, Propaganda & the Promised Land," and "A Panther in Africa" are a few examples of films that will cover topics as broad as the forum itself.
